Several negative articles, comments, discussions have been published about Hortobágyi crepe recently. according to those Hortobágyi crepe is the "joker" dish of many restaurant, the collector of all the food scraps. It has got the similar status as the punch slice in the world of cakes, or the parisian in the butcher.
Pancake Patrick - the born of the legend
The legendary PalacsintaHáz, the restaurant with coutrywide publicity opened its gate in the Autumn of 2006. Its goal is to fascinate the guests with its special crepe and pancake recipes and unique atmosphere.
PalacsintaHáz shined as a small jewellery-box in the heart of Kis-Avas. Patrik lived in one of its cellar lines, calling himself as the lord of Kis-avas cellars. Nobody knows where he guess this title, but the fact was, that he was the one who know the labirynth of the Kis-Avas cellars the best.
Pancake Day
Hi there!
On Pancake Day we hold the celebration of our adored meal. If you don't mind I tell you about my first experience with this tradition.
I was just roaming the region of South-england, when on a night came on me at a small town called Olney. Darkness came in the afternoon, because it was February. A not too small restauateur of the small town accomodated me. In gratitude I surprised him and his family with a tasty crepe dinner. They enrich me with several valuable information from which the story of Pancake Day was the most interesting.
