On Pancake Day we hold the celebration of our adored meal. If you don't mind I tell you about my first experience with this tradition.
I was just roaming the region of South-england, when on a night came on me at a small town called Olney. Darkness came in the afternoon, because it was February. A not too small restauateur of the small town accomodated me. In gratitude I surprised him and his family with a tasty crepe dinner. They enrich me with several valuable information from which the story of Pancake Day was the most interesting.
Pancake Day close the period of the Carneval and prepare for the Lent which lasts till Easter. Pancake Day is held on the evening which precedes the begining of the Lent.
